Henry P. Glass papers, 1942-2000.

Austrian-born industrial designer Henry Glass practiced and taught industrial design in Chicago for more than 60 years. He specialized in furniture and household objects in a modern idiom. The collection includes materials documenting his industrial design and architectural projects; papers related to his career at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, including lecture notes for his course Design 366; the typescript of his book, Design and consumer; and publications by and about Glass.
